Outreach
The Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) Project promotes the interdisciplinary use of Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) data, including data products, data services, and data-handling tools, to a broad range of existing and potential user communities. The Project supports conferences by exhibiting the Earth System Science Data and Services booth, the Science Mission Directorate (SMD) booth, and data center booths. These booths present interactive graphics and descriptive EOSDIS information, including handouts of brochures and DVDs. ESDIS also sponsors the presentation of papers and posters at targeted Earth science-related conferences.
